Abdullah Asif
Vice President
Hey there, everyone! I’m a junior majoring in Biochemistry, Arabic, and Middle Eastern Studies, with minors in Medical Humanities and Economics. In my free time, I love learning new things (primarily through podcasts), playing video games, and climbing trees! As vice president, I play a leading role in planning, organizing, and executing AED events. My advice to any student is to always be open to engaging new people and never shy away from asking questions. Doing so will make your time on campus that much more productive and sweet :)

Treasurer
Hi everyone! I am a junior majoring in biochemistry and minoring in medical humanities and I am from Little Rock, Arkansas. I am also involved with the VAC Full Circle Food Pantry, Pre-Med Hogs, and the Honors College Ambassador program. Outside of academics, I like to hang out with friends, discover new music, and explore coffee shops! I assist in managing the funding for all our important events and keep track of member dues. My advice for pre-med students would be to explore their interests without any reservations and engage with the community.

Caitlin Guice
Historian
Hey y'all! I am a Senior Biochemistry and Psychology double major. I have lived all over the U.S. but I am most recently from Bentonville, AR. Outside of being the Historian for AED, I work as a patient care associate as well as an SI instructor. I am also involved in Cru, Pre-med hogs, and Women in Medicine. I also like to workout and watch tv shows. Once I graduate, I plan to go to medical school to become a neurosurgeon. My advice for pre-health students is to get involved early and often. Get involved in groups (medical or not), research, and fun things you enjoy!

Hi friends! I am a senior from Tulsa, Oklahoma majoring in Biology and Psychology and minoring in Spanish. I also hold positions in ASG Cabinet and in the Fulbright Honors Peer Mentoring Program. In my free time, I like to read, swim, and spend time with my friends over a hot cup of matcha. My favorite animals are frogs. On my days off from school, I work as a homeschool teacher and at NWA Pediatrics. I handle all the organizational details like attendance and keeping the active log updated!

Hey everyone! I am a senior majoring in Biochemistry with minors in Child Services, Medical Humanities, and Global Studies. I am from Bryant, AR. I am also an active Women in Medicine, Pre-Med Hogs, and Neuroscience Organization member. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends. A fun fact about me is that I fluently speak three languages. I advise the new members to get involved on campus and explore their interests.

Peer Mentor Co-chair
Hi everyone, I am a pre-professional animal science major in my senior year. I am from West Fork, Arkansas, and outside of all the Pre-Med stuff, I like to watch sports, go golfing, play pickleball, and genuinely find some way to relax. I also work as a Patient Care Assistant at NW Arkansas Pediatrics and as an SI leader for Biology. A fun fact about me is that I have a German Short-Haired Pointer named Goose and a three-legged mutt named Max. Some general advice is just to keep trucking along. It's a challenging journey, but if you keep pushing, eventually, you will find success.

Peer Mentor Co-chair
Hey Everyone, I am a Senior Psychology Major with a minor in Biology. I am from the city of Little Rock, Arkansas, and am also involved in the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, the ASCAN Research Lab, the EMPOWER program, and The Order of Omega RSO. I have had the pleasures of being both an Emergency Scribe and a Patient Care Tech Assistant during my summers. I also love playing the guitar! The best piece of advice I give out to most premeds is to develop friendships with like-minded people - even though the road to medical school is difficult and long, it doesn't have to be lonely!

Hi! I'm a junior biology major with French, mathematics, and psychology minors. I'm from Cabot, Arkansas, which is right outside of Little Rock. Outside of AED, I'm also involved in other RSOs such as Pre-Med Hogs, Women in Medicine, Honors College Ambassadors, and Neuroscience Organization. I volunteer with Washington Regional Medical Center, NWA Women's Shelter, Alzheimer's Association, and United to Beat Malaria. I'm working on getting my EMT license and hope to attend med school with a concentrated interest in surgery. My advice for anyone is to take care of yourself! Premeds tend to carry a lot of pressure and fill their schedules up to the brim. However, it's very important to take time for yourself away from the stressful things every once in a while!
