FAQ
Do I have to be a member to participate?
No. All students are welcome to our events, however, if you'd like to add AED to your resume, we recommend choosing either and Associate or National membership to support your level of involvement. We are now offering Associate Memberships as a lower cost option for those who would like to try AED or who do not yet qualify for National Membership.
How do I become a member?
More information about applying to be a member of AED can be found under the "Memberships" tab. If you have any questions please email us at premed@uark.edu.
What is the best way to get involved with AED?
Make sure to sign up for our weekly newsletter, follow us on Instagram (@uarkpremed), join the Groupme, and register on Hogsync. Through these outlets, we will be communicating information that will be beneficial to your success.

More specifically, attend as many events as you can, introduce yourself to surrounding members (including the officers!), and communicate what you like and dislike about AED & events. Don't be afraid to get to know your leaders... we want to help you more than anything. We also want to plan the best events that will help you pursue your interests in medicine.
