Sara Armstrong
AED President
Hi all! My name is Sara Armstrong, and I’m so thrilled to be serving as your AED President for 2022-2023. I am a Biochemistry Major with minors in Spanish and Medical Humanities. I am an Honors College Fellow graduating in May of 2023, and I plan to take a gap year to travel before I begin medical school in the fall of 2024. In the future I want to be a pediatrician and continue doing medical research. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering, spending time outside with friends and family, and bingeing Netflix. Please reach out so I can get to know all of you better!
Ellie Magera
AED Vice President
Hey! I am a junior Biology major from Kansas City, Missouri. Outside of AED, I am the President of Women in Medicine, participate in Dr. Westerman‘s research lab, and attend Harvest Church, and am a member of Kappa Delta. Over the summer, I work as a counselor at Kanakuk K7 and participate in shadowing. I love to read, watch movies, play tennis, and attend concerts! A fun fact is that I have gone skydiving and can't wait to do it again. I have enjoyed shadowing a breast radiologist and find this a very intriguing option for my future. Please reach out if you have any questions at ehmagera@uark.edu! I look forward to meeting all of you and serving as your VP!
